The first time you save a new document these two menu options will work the same way and open up a Save As dialog box where you can enter a file name for your new file in the Save As field. In the Where field, you can select the folder where you want to save your new file.

- I do not think that would work as far as putting the whole game on a flash drive - I know I just finished upgrading my pc and it did not let me just move the game from my former drive to this one - i had to reinstall all my Sims games first - then i was able to move my files from my other drive to this one - but I have to move out the files the game installed to add my save files. I could see moving the mod folder in and out of the game - but not all the play files and the game would - as I said - have to stay installed.

Soon or late, my brother is going to start experimenting and most likely format the disk C:/ and I would like to keep my game files.
