Minecraft on Mac OS has a bug that causes Minecraft to crash on launch, this is a temporary fix until Mojang tell us what causes the bug and fixes it.
Instructions:
- In your Minecraft launcher, go to 'Launch Options'
- Click on your Minecraft 18w07a profile,
- Deselect 'resolution'
- Go to the 'News' tab, press play
- Minecraft should start up and you should be able to play in the new snapshot

Level 2:Apprentice ExplorerLunaNikThis just started happening to me after years of no issues. The latest launcher, which updated itself, must be the problem, since I had no issues with the previous launcher.
That having been said, in launch options, the resolution was already deselected and it still crashes every time I try to play.

No it is not.
